In the midst of joining Roy Woods‘ Say Less tour, TRIPSIXX hits the net with some new music titled “Mind Right.” The song is a follow up to his previously hard body mosh-pit joint “Wake The Dead Up.”

The video for the track directed by Justin Serran and Eman Gilligan. The video was filmed at night, driving around California. You can catch TRIPSIXX turning up and having a good time. Watch it below.

As his buzz grows in North America, fans have been excited about seeing TRIPSIXX live on tour and can’t get enough of his high energy demeanor as he has been steadily bringing the heavy hitters.

Going through DRIPXXX‘s SoundCloud, there is no doubt that you’re going to come across a few bangers — as well as learn about the rapper’s intriguing aesthetic. The music is well above the bar with so much sauce dripping, unable to be boxed into one genre. The lyrics are your average mosh-pit friendly rhymes, but the song sure doesn’t lack in adlibs. It’s not just the music, either: DRIPXXX’s demeanor is about mixing drinks with substances (and the drink of choice would probably be pink lemonade).

As downtown Toronto culture shifts, DRIPXXX is the latest addition to the flock of new talent rising from concrete. Listen to the TRIPSIXX-assisted banger below. Produced by Ivan The Terrible, the song was also premiered during the UTU takeover OVO Sound Radio episode 57.

TRIPSIXX releases his project Metal Gear Tape which consists of production from High Klassified, Da-P, Krinny and more. As part of his campaign, TRIPSIXX dropped a music video for one of his standout tunes “Wake The Dead Up”; the video was a head turner as it captures TRIPSIXX in his natural habitat.

His latest tape is also well put together too, probably one of his best projects to date. His 360 approach to each song displays the rapper’s ability to switch lanes whilst staying super melodic. Last time we heard something this smooth from the Detroit-raised spitter was back when he dropped “Team Rocket.”

Toronto-Detroit rapper TRIPSIXX released two new songs “Kush Up” (produced by Krinny) and “Wake The Dead Up” (produced by Lost Planets) a week ago. Now, he returns with a turnt up video for “Wake The Dead Up,” a song that you’ll probably hear everywhere by the end of the year. Starting fresh, TRIPSIXX is setting up his ultimate campaign at the top of the year. For now, he keeps entertaining his fans with some quality music and music videos. His second project Metal Gear Tape is also set to drop soon. If anything, this menacing video shows how much sauce the fans can expect from the rapper’s upcoming music.

TRIPSIXX has been on our radar for a minute. He first appeared back when his track “Goosebumps” dropped. Over a time span of a year or two, TRIPSIXX has shown nothing but consistency, with plenty of high-quality, sauced up bangers, quickly becoming one of the more ambiguous rappers in the city.

His exploratory videos like “Savage Shit” captured a snapshot of TRIP’s aesthetic whilst exploring said city. “Casino” was pretty cool too.

Giving his fans hope, TRIPSIXX announced he’s releasing a new project titled Metal Gear Tape. It’s sure is a good day to be alive. Stay tuned for when it drops.

TRIPSIXX‘s 2014 anthem “Goosebumps” made a huge impact in Toronto and Detroit that Summer, and he’s been on the rise ever since. With plenty of time to build, TRIPSIXX dropped his We Own The Night EP last year, along with an exploratory video for “Savage Sh*t.” It was a great snapshot into the aesthetic of an artist who explores varying sing/rap styles yet manages to keep them cohesive.

For him to come correct this year with a song like “Casino” is a testament to how much true potential he still withholds. The record is a combination of his melodic, gangster Bryson Tiller-esque style and his incredible knack for making catchy hooks. Listen to the Krinny-produced tune below.
