UPDATE: Don’t know how we missed this, but — in addition to the original release of NAV’s new album Bad Habits — the Canadian star also liberated a Deluxe version with 8 additional songs, including the Future-assisted “Amazing.” Feel free to enjoy the updated version below.

I’m not really sure what the hell happened, but for a minute, we all thought that NAV wasn’t dropping music until Lil Uzi Vert did — only for his manager to leak new music anyway. Only a week later, we get a whole album from the Canadian artist/producer titled “Bad Habits,” which sees 16 tracks and features from Lil Durk, Gunna, Young Thug, The Weeknd and Meek Mill.

One person the project doesn’t feature is (surprisingly) Lil Uzi Vert. The two did have a track titled “Habits” that was meant to be included; unfortunately, DJ Drama and Don Cannon reportedly put the kibosh on that:

If all of this is legit, it may further explain why Uzi fans haven’t yet seen Eternal Atake (and, possibly, may never see it)…it’s like the Birdman/Lil Wayne debacle all over again.

Las Vegas emcee Dizzy Wright follows up last year’s Don’t Tell Me It Can’t Be Done with another consistent effort titled Nobody Cares, Work Harder (loving these album titles, by the way). The new project sees 15 cuts (including “Champagne Service” and “Picture Perfect”) with additional assistance from Eric Bellinger, Curren$y, Mozzy, Tech N9ne, (former Funk Volume compadre) Jarren Benton, frequent collaborator Demrick and more. It looks like NAV‘s peers have forced him out of retirement. Previously having joined Lil Uzi Vert in protest by not releasing music, both Uzi and his manager — XO’s Cash — have decided to leak some tunes that would sitting around on a cell phone, materializing into the 5-track EP Brown Boy, which can be streamed via Audiomack below. Perhaps Eternal Atake is also soon to follow…

Zacari – Run Wild Run Free

Top Dawg Entertainment’s newest (or newly-known about) signee Zacari delivers his official introduction in the form of the 7-track EP Run Wild Run Free, which was led by “Don’t Trip” and “Midas Touch” and sees a single feature assist from Lil Yachty. He explains the release himself:

“This EP really goes back… I’ve been working on the music for two years and some of the lyrics are even from high school… This being my first project I wanted my experiences up to this point to be reflected in the music. A lot of the sounds and tones are drawn from my experiences in Alaska. I want the project to feel like a breath of fresh air. After you listen to it I want you to feel like you’re ready to go back into the real world.”

NAV and Travis Scott really could drop a joint album at this point. Following NAV’s appearance on Scott’s high-selling Astroworld, the Canadian artist-producer reconnects with the young Texan in his latest visual for “Champion,” which is taken from NAV’s debut album Reckless. Some dope cameos lie in the Hawaii-themed clip, too (if you haven’t checked out Sheck Wes, you need to do that ASAP).
