Although the video was shot in an arcade, Flawless Real Talk is not playing games when it comes to what he creates. Every video released by Flawless has been epic to say the least, and “Let Your Hair Down” is no different. You can tell that Flawless just wanted to have fun with this one because it’s a lot more laid back than the projects before it. From beautiful women to arcade games — what’s not to love?

Rick Ross has recently dropped a visual for his 2015 track “Free Enterprise,” featuring John Legend. Although the song came out on his 2015 project Black Market, the election of Donald Trump as president has prompted Ross to drop a politically aimed video. In this video, Rick Ross points a finger at the faults of Donald Trump, and society as a whole.

This video, directed by Ryan Snyder, shows Rick Ross in front of an inverted American flag, symbolizing the harsh, unequal reality that many face in this country.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Ross says, “I would never advocate violence on Trump or anyone. It’s lyrical assassination. That’s me being a poet, putting words together in my art form, with no violence in my heart at all,” he said. “Clarify that. Matter of fact, my cameraman was Trump’s caddy at his golf course for five years, and he says Trump is cool as fuck.”

Besides the blatant criticism of Donald Trump, Rick Ross also talks about many issues plaguing the country today like the mass incarceration of black men.  The statistic, “1 in 3 Black Men Can Expect To Go To Prison In Their Lifetime,” flashed across the screen as the music played in the background.

Earlier this week, singer/songwriter SAM BLVCK released the video for his newest single “Battle.” The video, directed by Racquel Charles and Niara Nyabingi, features BLVCK in Washington, D.C. fighting between the extreme passion, and the dreary toxicity that relationships can put us through. This intoxicating visual takes us through the battle between the highs and lows of BLVCK’s flawed relationship with his love interest. This is a video we can all relate to on a personal level, and a song many people won’t have a problem identifying with.

SAM BLVCK may be a newer artist but as far as entertaining goes, he’s been dancing and singing his whole life. “Since I was a young kid, I can’t remember a time not singing or dancing. I have always loved to sing, dance and entertain. It was my way to find comfort in growing up by myself,” says BLVCK. With inspirations like: Stevie Wonder, Usher, Pharrell and Chris Brown just to name a few, it’s no surprise that BLVCK  always strives to expand his creative mind and his versatility as an artist. Whether through singing, songwriting, dancing or performing in any other aspect, we definitely have not seen the last of SAM BLVCK.

Even though your clout may start to get bigger, and you start picking up more and more shows to perform at because your buzz is growing daily, it does not mean that in turn you have to steer away from your humble beginnings. Cozz proves this in his new in-studio music video.

Cozz has done nothing but impress since the 23-year-old hit the hip-hop scene with a bang in  2014.  With the release of Cozz & Effect making noise and after dropping the first offering from the Dreamville squad of the year — Nothin Personal, Cozz has given us the visual for another standout track drop, “Halftime Show.” The budding Los Angeles emcee keeps it cool and casual, per usual, in the visual to match his cut-throat bars. Keeping it simple, Cody Mac spits his bars where the magic happens for most artist, in the studio. The Cali native hits a wake and bake session with the homies/in house producers while rapping the Durag Meez produced track. The Real 92.3’s Letty even makes a quick appearance as the boys have a good time vibing to quality hip-hop music. Cozz recently made an impressive on his feature track with label mate Bas‘s recent release on the song “Dopamine,” as well as dropping the visual for Bas and Cozz’s song ‘Tabs.”

The buzz for Dreamville gets bigger and better as each artist showcases their own individual abilities, effectively able to hold their own weight. It’s brings back the excitement hip-hop heads can describe with the momentum and strategic releases made.

Last week, Yo Gotti dropped his eighth studio album The Art of Hustle (which didn’t disappoint). The album, sticking true to the North Memphis rapper’s street knowledge over booming bass, featured an array of artists including Future, Lil Wayne, E-40 and K. Michelle. But, arguably the most praised featured verse has gone to G.O.O.D. Music president Pusha T’s assistance on the track ‘Hunnid’ and now, there is a visual to match.

The sleek black-and-white clip, by which represents Push and Gotti’s sophisticated-streetesque persona, showcases the finest luxury items most rappers possess and/or live by; metaphoric snow, a couple models and stacks of money. Both Memphis and Virginia collide to aggressively deliver a gritty street anthem, while well-known-director Kid Art’s frigid cinematography using as less color as possible helps bring the Honorable C. N.O.T.E. instrumental to life. The powderly clip symbolizes simplicity in such a stark way, it works.

Gotti has been on a roll, recently performing his biggest hit thus far in his career ‘Down in the DM’ on Jimmy Kimmel Live alongside famous drummer and former Blink-182 member, Travis Barker. Barker isn’t a stranger to the hip-hop realm, though. The drummer has worked with respectable OG’s in the game including Lil Wayne, The Game, Rick Ross and Swizz Beatz. After their late night appearance, Gotti flew to 1OAK for his album release party where he partied, played his album and even allowed The Life of Pablo‘s own, Kanye West to premiere a new song (but not without listening to him rant, of course).

The CMG head honcho does not plan on slowing down his 15-year career. Gotti confirms that he’s working on turning “The Art of the Hustle” into a feature film project. The Commercial Appeal Memphis confirmed:

“We’re doing a film; it’s been scripted out. We’ve been working on that for a while. It’s early, but we’re looking to get started this year. Got a lot of people helping me like (Epic chairman and CEO) L.A. Reid. 50 Cent, who’s been involved in a lot of films, I’m having discussions with him. There’s a few people on the table to be involved. I want my family to have lot of input, too, because this is about things they lived out.”
