Quelle Chris‘ 2013 album, Ghost at the Finish Line, went over a lot of heads last year, but Chris is plowing forward, unfazed. For the video for the album’s title track, he gets a little weird, donning neon costumes in an all-black environment. The disembodied body parts mirror the “ghosts at the finish line,” remnants of people who were once coherent, yet have slowly vanished. Quelle comforts himself with the money he’s earned during his “race,” but there’s still a feeling of loneliness now that he’s seeing the costs. After all, these ghosts are once people who he knew and loved. Watch the video below and check out our interview with Quelle Chris for more context on the album. You can also stream the album.
