Virginia’s LAWS make it clear that they’re ready to take America and the world by storm. This week, the Hampton Roads duo — consisting of Stelo and Sir Nijel — deliver their debut visual for “Lean,” a raw, uncompromising cut that sounds reminiscent of classic hip-hop cuts and country rap tunes (ex. C-Murder, Snoop Dogg and Magic‘s “Down For My N’s”). Matched with LAWS’ deep, menacing vocals and straight-to-the-point lyrics, the track — produced by Frelli Parks — boasts the type of aggression to turn any club or concert upside-down the second the bass kicks in.
Enjoy the Breant Hearn-shot, Stelo-directed clip below. The track is said to be a pre-cursor to LAWS’ forthcoming project LW75 (coming soon).
