Debuting at #2 on the iTunes Hip-Hop/Rap Album chart, garnering over 700,000 streams in just 5 days, 25/8 is by far artists’ Brandz’ and Zion’s biggest release to date. Hailing from London, these two creatives teamed up to release an unforgettable body of work, with an original sound.
This project follows an already strong 2019 for the two. As an individual artist Zion has garnered over 5 million streams via Virgin EMI/Universal Music, while Brandz has over 10 millions plays with UK rap duo Tizzy & Brandz. Known for his sick raps and melodic harmonies Brandz spits some of his hardest bars to date. Zion’s superb songwriting skills flourish to new heights as his vocal abilities are a perfect match for his fellow songster.
One song that stands out the most on this release is track 2 titled “Dangerous”. You will hear some catchy lyrics such as “she love the liquor told her pour some more, she moving crazy she has no remorse”. This particular record highlights the two lyricists raw chemistry.
Having put London on their backs, both Brandz and Zion are putting on for their fans locally and internationally. One thing that is for certain is that, ”25/8“, will have dancing all night long with no worries in the world.
