Two of Hip-Hop’s biggest stars put on a hell of a show for this year’s NBA All-Star game, which took place in Charlotte, NC. First, Meek Mill delivered rousing renditions of “Intro,” “Going Bad” and “Uptown Vibes” (why did Fabolous perform? Wasn’t he in the building?) in the midst of the players being announced during the opening introductions.
The halftime show leveled up even more: hometown hero and recipient of the ‘You Almost Had It‘ award J. Cole — decked out in a classic Hornets jacket, no less — took to the stage(s) to perform a legit mini-concert, complete with live versions of his new single “Middle Child,” “A Lot” (where he shouts out 21 Savage), “ATM,” “Love Yourz” and “No Role Modelz.” Definitely a win for everyone who watched or attended.
