In today’s landscape, it’s easy for people to write off Hip-Hop as the “party genre.” I mean, you heard it from the most streamed artist in the genre, “If you’re looking to think about life, don’t listen to Hip-Hop.” Obviously, Post is incorrect as Hip-Hop has long been a place for artists to express what’s really going on. Never the one to waste his words, Las Vegas native, Dreamer does just that on his new single, “Understand Me.”
Sticking to a simple cadence in order to stress lyrics, Dreamer completely gets introspective on this one, creating a lame for the listener to think about their own status. With a solid single & am equally impressive work ethic to match, it could be sooner rather than later that the Sin City native finds some success.
