Completing their 2nd annual Love and Harmony cruise, it is safe to say that Love and Harmony cruise is definitely the ultimate Caribbean experience. Giving their harmonizers, a name that has been taken on by passengers on this voyage, a taste of Caribbean culinary, social events, music, and entertainment many cannot stop gloating about.
After ten parties and concerts over six days, Love and Harmony sailed back to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where they departed from and the cruisers were estatic and ready for 2019.
“Beenie Man, Sanchez, Beres Hammond, Elephant Man, Rupee, Marcia Griffiths, Mr Vegas, were all great, the comedy show was so hilarious with Ity and Fancy Cat and Majah Hype. But over all it was simply the love on the ship, we were all like family on the ship for the 6 days” says Emily Washington of Washington DC.
For many aboard Love and Harmony they gained new friends as they attended many of the events on board, the domino tournament, bingo, the comedy show and Karaoke as well as the many concerts and parties.
“Entertainment was non stop, there was always something to do as early as noon, the top deck had a DJs spinning some great tunes, at eight in the morning there was work outs and breakfast was just the greatest. I have never been on a cruise where I had the option of liver, salt fish and cabbage, ackie and saltfish, yam, banana, dumpling and a bowl of various type of porridge. They definitely catered to make sure we had the Caribbean experience on board as they said they would” says Masha Watson of US Virgin Islands.
Plans are already being put in place for the third staging of Love and Harmony cruise 2019. “The response to this has been overwhelming. We have a large number of our passengers from this year who have already made deposits to hold cabins for next year, so that says something about their experience. We are at 60 percent right now. We have to get a bigger ship. Right now we cant announce the date until we sign the dotted line says Steven ‘Jabba’ Beckford.
