Dave East has been killing every appearance he’s made while being on tour in promotion of Paranoia 2. During this, he made a pit stop in Boston, where he sold out Paradise Rock Club. Before killing the stage, East brought out Boston’s own Millyz, accompanied by BIA, Piff Jones and D Jones. Boston was more than ready for East, considering that there was a line of waiting attendees that stretched around the corner of the venue.
The last couple of months have been leading up to this specific moment in the tour. Having released Karma (with DJ Holiday) and P2 alongside a handful of remixes Eastmixes, it was almost impossible to guess what East was going to perform let alone come out too. Energy — being the main source that most artists feed off of — was more than East imagined. Boston showed love from beginning to end, making his appearance one of the best so far. Being able to catch an artist in the moment during a show takes special ability, which resident photographer Brock Mills does flawlessly.
With P2 (his second release through his joint distribution deal with Mass Appeal and Def Jam), East is able to take matters into his own hands and shape his future the way he sees fit. Leading up to the rest of the tour, East is sure to bring the same amount of energy (if not more). Being one of the select few who have come from the ground up, East has truly turned his life around and is living prosperous. Checking off goals as he goes, its more than noticeable that East has more in store, not only for himself but also everyone around him — including his fans.
