Ye Ali keeps on giving us fresh island tings with his new single “Wedding Bands” that features K. Camp. They are a great duo, both being married to the money. The song is produced by Bizness Boi and CashMoneyAp. Ye posted a snippet of the single and he had so much positive feedback, it was only right for him to release it.
The duo also worked together in the past with “What To Do,” which was off the album Traphouse Jodeci. Ye also made a major appearance on Chris Brown‘s new album Heartbreak on a Full Moon, which was released today (Halloween). He released his project Passion & Patience in early July with the single “Talk Less.”
Recently, he sat down with Hypebeast to explain the creation of “Wedding Bands”:
I wanted to make something that sounded infectious yet effortless…I often hear songs about bands, but I’ve never heard it customized to the idea of marriage quite like this…when I posted the snippet the response was amazing so I knew it would be some of my best work.
Ye is going up from here by hopefully releasing Traphouse Jodeci 2 and a visual to “Wedding Bands” soon!
