We have to be honest, seeing this year’s XXL Freshman class, who we’re all fans of (and seeing the previous year’s class), it was hard to expect any wow moments during the freestyles and cyphers. We’ve seen the freestyles, with mixed results; below lies the cyphers, backed by Metro Boomin. Shout out to Kyle, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Aminé and notable artists this year that have shown that the new generation can hold it down with the bars, too. Also: XXXTentacion is both genius and f**kin’ insane.
