Earlier this week, Chris Brown and Riveting Entertainment premiered the documentary Welcome To My Life in Los Angeles…the L.A. LIVE event wasn’t without other big names, either — Diddy, Tyga, Jhené Aiko, Terrance J and more attended the screening. The film — of which you can see the trailer here — is meant to give the viewer a transparent look into Brown’s various ups and downs throughout his life and career.
As this is about the superstar singer from Virginia, it only makes sense to have new music accompany the visual. Below lies Brown’s new track (also titled “Welcome To My Life”) which features/is helmed by Cal Scruby and follows the various challenges that parallel Chris’ rollercoaster journey through fame and fortune:
Have you been there?
Have you seen it all?
Have you done this once before?
Did they tell you, you’ll love this life and all these lights?
Now you’re lying on the floor
And they know, what doesn’t kill you makes you want it more
And this is your life
Your life, your life
Enjoy “Welcome To My Life” below, along with another track — the Nas-assisted “Die Young.” Hopefully, the highly-touted documentary — which saw a limited release in theaters yesterday — will be liberated to wider audiences soon.
