Yesterday, Vince Staples stopped by Zane Lowe‘s show on Beats 1 to announce his new album Big Fish Theory, which will be dropping June 23rd. To hold fans over, the Long Beach, CA emcee also took the opportunity to deliver the new single “Big Fish,” which features Juicy J and sees bouncy production from Christian Rich.
Added to that: a new visual for the track, which sees Vince on what appears to be a sinking boat surrounded by sharks…because dark and realistic symbolism is Staples’ middle name.
Check out “Big Fish” below, which follows February’s “BagBak.” As far as the album, Lowe seems to have revealed that Kendrick Lamar, Bon Iver, A$AP Rocky, Flume and Gorillaz will be making appearances…
Did @vincestaples just shout these and more for #BigFishTheory @kendricklamar @boniver @gorillaz @flumemusic @asvpxrocky @SOPHIEMSMSMSM ?
