Despite Chris Brown dealing with legal issues from his past—in the form of a restraining order issued out on his birthday—there is a major silver lining for the controversial singer.
Yesterday, Chris Brown took to his Instagram (@chrisbrownofficial) to post a special letter from YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki. In the letter posted to his IG, Wojcicki congratulated Brown’s YouTube channel reaching 10 million subscribers, which she compares to the entire population of New York City. She even went as far as calling the channel a “movement.”
According to Wojcicki, 10 million subscribers automatically land content creators into YouTube’s coveted Diamond Club. The Diamond Play Button is a pretty solid gift for all those subscribers too. Check it out below.
Other notable Diamond Club artists include Eminem, Nicki Minaj, Wiz Khalifa, Ariana Grande and more.
Chris Brown’s 40-track double album Heartbreak on a Full Moon is expected to drop later this year.
