Anime has always been popular among the niche crowds. Sure, mainstream products like Pokemon and Naruto have made Anime a more popular entity but Hip-Hop — also once a hipster favorite — has taken a more creative interest in the genre. Las Vegas native Dezmond MF, who has been making waves by collaborating with Ronny J, the main producer behind many of Denzel Curry and The Underachiever‘s classics, looks to pave his own way through this wave with the new animated visual for “DOOM“.
Utilizing a banging bass heavy beat from RV3RS, Dez and guest man Cambatta trade lyrical bullets throughout this track, which centers on the topic of waking up the lost souls. The lyrics match perfectly with the character movements throughout the visual, resulting in an original music video experience, unlike anything out. The track, serves as a precursors to the untitled project that Dezmond will be releasing soon.
