After much anticipation Chicago’s MC, Dreezy has finally debuted her first major label album, No Hard Feelings.
The 22-year-old Chicago native emerged into the music scene in 2012, when she made a guest appearance on Sasha’s Go Hard track “I Ain’t No Hitta.” A year later she collaborated in a mixtape called Business N Pleasure with Mikey Dollaz, but it wasn’t until 2014 when she released her remix version of Nicki Minaj’s “Chiraq”– which hit half-a million views on Youtube– that she began to receive some major recognition for her talent. Dreezy was then invited to collaborate with hip hop recording artist, actor, film producer, poet and Chicago native himself, Common, on the track “Hustle Harder.” Since then she has signed with Interscope Records and dropped an EP in 2015, produced entirely by Metro Boomin and Southside called From Now On. The EP featured Dej Loaf on the track “Serena,” making it her second EP of that year after releasing her first EP called Call It What You Want.
The No Hard Feelings album captures a mixture of R&B and hip-hop. The entire album, which features a total of 19 songs, is a far cry from her Schizo mixtape. This time around she leaves all of her relationship problems to the side and truly gives her listeners a sense of self. Her latest hit single “Spazz,” along with “Body” featuring Jeremih, can all be heard on the album. You can purchase No Hard Feelings on iTunes and stream it on Apple Music now
