Las Vegas is full of culture and different musical lanes. You have the conscious weed heads who worship 702 native Dizzy Wright, you have the electronic culture, which culminates with EDC (Electronic Daisy Carnival) every year, and then you have the the hustlers and the shakers. Sin City native Dela Phantom fits into the latter category. After capturing major city support as well as internet buzz with last years, “Trap Lives Matter“, the 23-year-old rapper releases his new track, “Suicide“, an ode to making it out the struggles of the ever growing murder culture in Vegas.
The track is a 3 minute ride into the hoods of Vegas, with Dela standing in as your tour guide. “B**ch I’m Rambo Phantom, you got beef then what’s the issue?” proclaims Phantom over the the hectic banger produced by The Regiment. “I’m just inspired by my situation man and being surrounded by family who’s gonna ride with me when sh*t goes down,” said Phantom in an email to RESPECT., “I’m really just laying out the consequences if you decide to f*ck with me.” The song is a single off Dela’s upcoming project, Black Tar 2, which will be exclusively produced by production duo The Regiment, comprised of fellow Vegas natives DEE and Rightchusss.
