Barrington Levy & Jah Life x Supreme Collab

Today, the famous urban brand, Supreme unveiled its latest collaboration with the musical talent, Barrington “Mellow Canary” Levy and producer Hyman “Jah” Wright.

If you’re are not familiar with Levy, he is a well respected Jamaican Reggae and Dancehall artist and Jah Life’s label has contributed with his best hits.  Levy and and Wright worked together through the ’70s and 80’s, which is when one of his biggest hits “Murderer” was produced by Wright in New York City, with the rest of the reggae bangers they had. Levy came a long way as a reggae star, creating hits with Jah Life that broke boundaries in New York city for Jamaican music. They were a huge impact, spreading reggae music farther than just the islands.

Supreme gives their customers some more dope gear to add to their consistent dropping Spring/Summer 2016 collections. it will include t-shirts, tank tops, and hoodies that will have graphics of original artwork from Jah Life’s albums in many colors.

The launch also gave us a exclusive video of the dnacehall icon delivering the lyrics from his 2985 hit “Here I Come,” while rocking a Supreme box logo white tee. This collection will be in the New York, Los Angles ,London, Paris Supreme stores, and online June 16th. Japan’s Release will be on June 18th.
