Drake has done nothing but loyally stand by the Raptors. But last night any hopes of reaching the NBA finals were dashed as the Cleveland Cavaliers crushed Toronto.
The Cavaliers eliminated the Toronto Raptors 113-87, beating them in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference finals. With the Raptors winning Game 3 and 4, Drake got a little boastful on social media taunting the Cav’s star player LeBron James. After Toronto’s victory in Game 4, the rapper posted an image of LeBron crying. As the series has gone on, Drizzy has been showing his support in the highs and lows of the Raptor’s throughout the games.
Trolling LeBron may not have been the wisest thing to do however. The forward got his own back in the end as he was caught on camera last night shouting at Drake after celebrating his dunk in the second quarter. Having to take the L, Drizzy seemed frustrated at times, but just continued to sip on his drink as he sat courtside for the crucial game.

Humble in defeat, Drake took to his Instagram after the game to congratulate LeBron and the Cavaliers:
‘Historic season! Proud to stand behind my city always! Thank you to all the guys for giving us hope and purpose! Congrats to King and the Cavs on making it to the finals and thank you to the Toronto Raptors for having me be apart of this moment!!!’
After the game, King James and the Toronto rapper showed that there was really no love lost. The two were seen hugging as Drake congratulated the basketball star. But we all know that the internet really has no chill when it comes to the VIEWS rapper. Cleveland fans have taken the lead in posting some hilarious memes following the loss.
