After what was a very successful tour outing with Pusha T — where she gained herself a few new fans — followed by the recent official release of her latest single, “Whip It”, Boston’s BIA revisits “Gucci Comin Home”, a banger she dropped earlier this year. This time, we are treated to the visual format of the song, with Carrington Scott behind the lens.
“I might buy a ice cream truck and hand out cones to every zone”, BIA raps, while riding through the streets of Los Angeles doing just that, in this fun-filled new clip, which also features numerous cutaways of Gucci Mane, whom this song is dedicated to. It’s clear that she and other Gucci Mane loyalists are impatiently awaiting his return home from prison, where he has been since 2014.
With a few joints already circulating and now a brand new video, it is fair to say that the anticipation for BIA’s debut album, Knock On Wood is at pretty high levels, right now. Let’s hope she drops that project on us sooner than later. In the meantime, enjoy “Gucci Comin’ Home” and as always, #FreeGuwop!
