Adele is not one to be played with! Currently touring for her new album 25, the British pop star let it be known that she does not want her audience to film her while she is performing. In Verona, Italy with a strong accent and a little sass, Adele called out a woman in the audience for recording the performance and watching the show through her camera lens vs. her own eyes.
The surrounding audience members hooted and hollered as she disciplined the woman, in real life, as Adele would say. The “Hello” singer is very vocal with the connection between her and her fans. It is clear, she wants her fans to be conscious of her and the moment they are sharing together. Like a true star, Adele mentions that there are fans who couldn’t make it to the show or who would love to have the woman’s spot who is taking her position for granted. The ultimate DRAGGG if you ask me. Though the action was filmed by another fan ironically, the onlooking fans have even more endearment for her after the incident, claiming her as a ‘Wig-Snatcher!”
This is not the first time Adele has not held her tongue about a slip up on tour. Last week the artist on tour in Libson, Portugal sang the wrong lyrics to “Million Years Ago.” She was open and honest about her mistake. Her words to the audience, “S**t, s**t, s**t! I started singing the verse instead of the chorus! Sorry!”
Her fans reacted in a similar way, in a open and accepting manner. It seems Adele can do no wrong.
If you missed it, make sure to watch Adele go off on one of her fans. I personally can’t stop watching!
