Chris Breezy welcomes everyone into his life with new documentary.
The “Loyal” singer released a link Sunday evening of a trailer to his upcoming documentary titled, Welcome to My Life. The video clip has guest appearances from Mary J. Blige, Usher, Jennifer Lopez and others raving about Brown’s undeniable talent.
Aside from singing his praises and his rise to fame, the documentary also touched on his fall from grace. His mother, Joyce Hawkins, made a cameo as well, and while discussing the Rihanna incident that took place the night before the Grammy’s in 2009, she said “I felt like I was going to lose my child.” An emotional Chris Brown spoke on the matter and admitted “I was thinking about suicide and everything else. I wasn’t sleeping, I wasn’t eating. I was just getting high. I felt like f**king monster.” Brown referred to the incident as going from “America’s Sweetheart to public enemy number one.”
In the sneak peek of what’s to come from the documentary Chris also mentioned his redemption, “If there was ever a doubt in your mind that Chris Brown was done, he was finished? I wouldn’t bet on it,” says Brown as the trailer closes.
Welcome to My Life is directed by Andrew Sandler and will chronicle the last decade of the 26 year old singer’s life. Although back in March, Chris Instagrammed a photo of the film’s poster stating it’ll be coming soon, still no official word on when its release will be.
