Michael Kiwaunka‘s sophomore LP, Love & Hate, drops May 27 and he recently released the stirring visual for the leading meaningful anthem “Black Man in A White World.”
Directed by Hiro Murai, the monochromatic video (visually matching the song) showcases a boy dancing in the empty LA street. When a police car appears and commits a hit and run he speeds off leaving a car totaled in the middle of the intersection. The boy then begins to float away. All of this occurs as the UK vocalist, Kiwaunka, soulfully bares his vulnerability by simply singing “I’m a black man in a white world.”
It couldn’t be a more perfect and needed presentation.
