On Tuesday (March 15) Chris Brown used Instagram as his platform to give fans a little sneak peak of his upcoming documentary titled Chris Brown: Welcome To My Life.
“He went from being America’s sweetheart, to public enemy number one,” the headline of the poster reads.
Brown’s reputation as one of the most important R&B figures quickly spiraled down in 2009 after assaulting his then girlfriend Rihanna. Some are still unable to get over the image of the battered Barbadian singer that circulated the internet, which has led to overlooking Brown’s many successes after all these years.
With all the maturing he has done the media has made it their mission to continue tarnishing his career by reporting negative stories; legal issues, his break up with Karreuche Tran, and becoming the father to Royalty, refusing to give Brown the opportunity to speak for himself.
Those days seem to be coming to an end and as if we thought we knew enough about Chris Brown’s life, here he comes proving to us that his life isn’t.
At this moment we only know several things about this documentary, for one, as he stated on his Instagram it’s “coming soon.” It’s safe to assume that it’s main focuses will range from the highs and lows of his career, footage of his pride and joy, Royalty, and behind the scenes look at the album’s recording process.
Real 92.3’s Big Boy had nothing but good things to say about this documentary, stating that Chris Brown is even more open about certain situations than we saw and knew in public.
