It’s yet another Atlanta connection as Rich The Kid and iLoveMakonnen link for their “Whip It” Project. Sure, it’s only an 8-cut offering, but the Quality Control wonder kin and OVO Sound’s psychedelic crooner deliver a quirky and trippy take on new age trap wave, creating a blend of slow-mo melody and unconventional rhymes specific from the A. Standouts like the Sonny Digital produced “Still Workin” and “No Ma’am” with Rome Fortune once again make a strong case for Atlanta’s all encompassing influence. Whip it good.
