Wale never fails to add uniqueness to the industry and this time around the upcoming album only uplifts the tone. If you are ready for a change, the Go-Go project could match exactly what you are looking for. Although the work is only at the start of its journey, we can expect something special in terms of collaborations with Chris Brown and Tinashe already set to jump on board. Since Wale is creating his own lane- integrating the distinct Go-Go genre, it only makes sense that the “Ambition“ artist takes us back to the original D.C. flow. Holding plans to reach out to names across the area, he clearly has several surprises on the horizon:
“I have a whole lotta people back home that I want to include, but it’s like I gotta do it in a system, some people don’t even know they about to get the phone call. But I’m gon’ be like; “Yo, I know this is random but can you just fly to L.A. within a week?” It’s a real album so it’s a process.”
In the meantime, we await the “Self Made Volume 4” production from the MMG squad, so stay tuned for further updates.
