NC spitters Duru Tha King and Deniro Farrar linked up on a track called “New Charlotte” that served to introduce the outside world to their hometown scene. After that scene-defining statement, the pair return with “SET,” a new track produced by James Worthy. The track is a sparse, slightly off-kilter number led by a staccato piano line, which slowly evolves into a busier composition with synths and some reverberating hi-hats. Duru comes through first with a sing-songy verse before the gravelly-voiced Farrar takes over for the entire second half.
