Atlanta’s Playboi Carti continues to keep his flame going following the release of his self-titled debut (led by the smash hit “Magnolia“). For his latest, he teams up with Philly’s Lil Uzi Vert (who’s killing the game in his own right) for “wokeuplikethis*,” produced by Carti’s go-to beatsmith Pi’erre Bourne. In the accompanying clip, Carti finds himself in prison; Uzi makes his memorable appearance in adjoining scenes interspersed throughout the clip (directed by JMP).
