Travis Scott’s second studio, Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight album will debut at No. 1 on the Billboard album charts.
On September 2nd, Travis Scott released his second studio album, Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight, exclusively on Apple Music. After selling 88,000 copies (including streaming) in its first week, BITTSM will arrive on the charts as the No. 1 album in the country.
Scott has already surpassed the sales figures of his debut album, Rodeo, which was released almost a year ago at this time (September 26) by 18,000 units. Scott has also surpassed his Billboard 200 effort, as Rodeo originally debuted at No. 3.
While Travis Scott’s newest project will hold the Billboard crown for at least the next week, according to HDD, BITTSM will not be holding top spot as their chart does not include streaming numbers. Therefore, A Day To Remember’s Bad Vibrations will knock Scott’s BITTSM out of first place by only a few hundred units.

According to The Fader, this will be Apple Music’s 5th exclusive album to reach No. 1 in 2016. While Apple continues to capitalize on the strength of their exclusive roster, look for Travis Scott to shift his attention and skill to executive producing G.O.O.D MUSIC’s Cruel Winter.
