In preparation for the release of his upcoming album, If It Happened To Me, GrandBuda has released the visual for his track, “Away Too Long.” The track, which will be on the upcoming album, features Paris singer, Tom Lemann on it and he puts some really smooth vocals on it. “Away Too Long” shows GrandBuda in the middle of nowhere which goes perfectly with the lyrics, “I’ve been waiting for too long on my own.” It’s obvious that the visuals have a deeper meaning behind them though they are so simple. And if you’re familiar with GrandBuda than you’ll know all of his music does.
GrandBuda is a rapper from Montreal but has also DJed and done producing. His last project, Esclavos Del Rey, dropped in 2014 and it featured production by Kaytranada. They too dropped a visual for a track titled, “Breathe.” The release of that album launched GrandBuda’s rap career and he caught himself performing NXNE, Mural Festival, Piknic Electronik and many more the year after it dropped.
Now he’s back and even more ready than ever for people to hear him on the mic. Check out the visual for “Away Too Long” below and tell us what you think. And don’t forget to check If It Happened To Me, it drops on October 14th.
