Queen N.Y. native, Noah Caine has been working hard on his brand new EP Everything’s Gon’ Hurt— which drops this Thursday– and in honor of it’s release, Noah has just dropped “Flex.” “Flex” is the second single for the EP and is produced by Juleus Savage.
“Flex” delivers hope to the listener to strive to complete one’s goals while facing the world’s recent challenges and obstacles. Noah inspires with his lyrics:
“N****s say I’m next but I’m barely scratching the surface
Killers doing dirt, then pray to get clean, sitting in churches
I just order the rigatoni, bruschetta with primavera
Toast a glass of Chardonnay
To these blessings I’m seeing clearer”
It’s clear by Noah’s lyrics that he doesn’t mind speaking his mind and that’s definitely a refreshing factor. Because of all the terrible circumstances taking place in the U.S., Caine used “Flex” as a way to push himself and others to keep moving forward:
“With all the recent events taking place in the country, and furthermore the world, I felt like I was going crazy. It’s easy to lose focus & motivation” Caine said. “Police be murdering people, we watch the media spin it, like abracadabra here’s a cadaver put it on camera. So in an attempt to not be trapped by the negative energy floating around, I made Flex to remind myself, and others like me, to apologetically be yourself and to always move forward towards your goals while being aware of your surroundings in this sometimes chaotic journey we call life. Facts.”
