Damien Hirst’s second collaboration with Supreme from 2009
English artist Damien Hirst signed on with Supreme to release two original skate deck lines in 2009, and the decks from the second collab are resurfacing as Hirst’s company Other Criteria will be selling them online starting July 12th at 10am London time. Reportedly, Hirst kept the 200 AP’s he received from the 2009 release, and will be selling 40 signed decks for $1945 and 160 unsigned decks for $778. I don’t know about you, but I won’t be rushing to shell out my paycheck in support of this launch. Frankly, the designs never struck me as overwhelmingly original, and after his first collab (pictured below) it leaves much to be desired. I won’t write you off just yet Hirst, but I’m just not too excited about this one.
