The 6 God, Drake, and Tity Boi, 2 Chainz, have been in touch recently, as made evident by a screenshot of a text exchange posted on the social media platform, Instagram.
Amidst shooting videos for singles and collaborating with artists like Chance The Rapper and Lil’ Wayne, the two artists have had their fair share of grinding over the course of 2016, which will culminate in a mixtape featuring both artists, set to release on Friday.
No singles or track list have been officially released quite yet, so the project, titled Daniel Son;Necklace Don, is shrouded in mystery.
The announcement came around the same time that Frank Ocean’s Boys Don’t Cry was scheduled to release on Friday. Looks like we’ll all have our doses of R&B and Hip-Hop when the end of the week comes.
