They dropped a video today too, and did an hour long talk with Sway, all in service of their dark, powerful new LP. Here, they talk about everything from their process to the personal relationships within The Roots to what it means to be a hip-hop band. As a side note, it’s great to see how little Black Thought cares for Charlamagne‘s bullshitting around, and then how Charlamagne adapts and gets a little more serious.
