Our old cover boy just did something pretty awesome on the New York City bus. The Hollywood Reporter released a video of Macklemore and Ryan Lewis‘s recent stunt. The Grammy-nominated duo boards a northbound Bronx bus, and after entering and paying their fare, Lewis grabs a boom box and claps to the beat of “Can’t Hold Us.” The enthusiastic passengers rolled with it. Whether he is performing on stage in front of hundreds of people, or on a bus of fifteen, Macklemore always brings it.
Hollywood Reporter explains that the stunt is “part of the Grammy’s “Music Unleashes Us” multiplatform ad campaign, aiming to capture people’s natural, visceral and sometimes uncontrollable reactions to music.” Evan Greene, chief maketing of The Recording Academy, explains:
