Stepping outside the typical norm of music videos, ZOOLAY, presents us with new visuals for the remix of “Bars & Noble.” For those who aren’t quite familiar with ZOOLAY, the hip-hop group was formed in 2006 and is made up of two MCs, Don Ron and Illz One who are both based out of Los Angeles. The remix was listed as a bonus track off of his album Undeniable, which is made up of 16-tracks that features Trek Life, Roc C, Blame One and LMNO and was produced by Dibia$e.

Being influenced from the golden era of music, each MC on the record shows off their individual flows over a boom-bap influenced instrumental.  Being slept on is the worst especially in a industry where gaining the attention of the ears of others is easier said than done. Through proper decision making, ZOOLAY has pushed countless other videos off the album ensuring that the public eye doesn’t count them out.

It’s been a few months since the LA group, Zoolay, have released their hit album, Undeniable. The album dropped back in August but that doesn’t mean that they’ve stopped putting in that work. The group has been working hard to keep listeners up to date. Now they’re back with a new visual for their track, “Triple Crown.” 

“Triple Crown” features LostPoet, was produced by Dibia$e and is on the album, Undeniable. Check out the Brian Lynch-directed video for “Triple Crown,” below and tell us what you think.

It hasn’t been long since Zoolay released their hit EP, Still Livin Proof, and now they are back at again with an upcoming album, Undeniable. And to prepare for that album release on August 26th, the group has released the visual for their track, “Break Bread.”

Right off the cusp of premiering their EP, Still Livin’ Proof, Zoolay is back with a visual for the track, “Still Livin Proof.” The visual, directed by LostPoet, features Zoolay chilling in a nice beachy setting while they rap the lyrics to the smooth track. “Still Livin Proof” features Sunset Brown, whom is also featured in the visual. If you haven’t already, definitely take a listen to, the Still Livin Proof EP. The EP, a 6-track project, was produced entirely by THXbeats of Drop City Yacht Club. The WestCoast group put the video together in honor of their upcoming EP, Still Livin Proof, which will be available to download for free once it drops on March 16th. The 6-track EP, pays tribute to the DJ Premier-produced album, Livin Proof, from Group’s Home. Zoolay teamed up with THXbeats, the Grammy award winning producer to recreate the original songs without using samples or loops. So pay close attention to to production on Still Livin Proof; definitely worth the listen.

“Supa Star” is the first single and visual off of the upcoming EP and it’s well deserved. During this time, we all are in much need of a wake up call and “Supa Star” will do just that: wake you up!
