Yelawolf – Trunk Muzik 3

It looks like Yelawolf decided to make his last album with Shady Records his best to date. Today, the Alabama artist delivers Trunk Muzik 3, which “gets back to these 808s and classic southern Rap cadences” that I personally became a big fan of which the first installment dropped nine years ago. This go ’round, Yela gives his fans 14 bangers and collabs alongside DJ Paul, Machine Gun Kelly (!), Caskey (someone who really should be bigger than he is with that Cash Money co-sign), the late Pimp C and more.

Lion Babe – Cosmic Wind

Lion Babe — made up of Jillian Hervey and Lucas Goodman — have returned with their official follow-up to 2016’s Begin. Titled Cosmic Wind, the project comes with 15 new tracks, including the Raekwon-assisted “Western World” and “The Wave” with Leikeli47. Soul specialist Bilal also makes an appearance on the track “Can I See It.” Press play on the duo’s latest below.

Boosie Badazz – Badazz 3.5

Louisiana Rap veteran Boosie Badazz follows up last year’s Savage Holidays with a new album titled Badazz 3.5, which sees 15 new tracks and a single feature from longtime partner-in-crime Webbie (for him to only have one assist, that’s a damn good one). Check out the latest serving from Boosie below (would this be ninth album? Tenth? Can’t really tell which are actual albums at this point).

Saweetie – Icy

West Coast star Saweetie gives the masses a taste of what’s to come from her musically via a new EP titled Icy, which features seven new tunes and a couple of appearances from (still beau?) Quavo. Check it out below.

Phonte – Pacific Time

New music from Phonte? Hell yes.

Following last year’s No News Is Good News comes a quickstrike EP from the Little Brother alum titled Pacific Time, and — like the title and artwork might suggest — it’s super-smooth R&B vibes this side of The Foreign Exchange. Enjoy the four-track release below, which also sees assistance from Devin Morrison, Bosco and KAYTRANADA.

Birdman & Juvenile – Just Another Gangsta

It’s like the 99 to the 2000 all over again. Cash Money boss Birdman has reunited with Hot Boy alum Juvenile for a 12-track project titled Just Another Gangsta, which sees a single guest appearance from rising star NLE Choppa. This is definitely that nostalgic blend that’s perfect for the (upcoming) Summer weather.

Etta Bond – He’s Mine

Following the well-received release He’s Not Mine earlier this month, Etta Bond closes out the concept with He’s Mine, which see 9 new tracks and continues the previous release’s topics (love, relationships, sex) from the other side of the spectrum. Stream Etta’s latest below.

Big K.R.I.T. – 4eva Is A Mighty Long Time

Big K.R.I.T. isn’t letting the end of his chapter with Def Jam slow him down — in fact, the Mississippi emcee-producer is back with a double album titled 4eva Is A Mighty Long Time, a collection of 22 soulful Rap tunes with appearances from T.I., Cee-Lo Green, Sleepy Brown, Jill Scott, Lloyd, Bilal and more. The project was preceded by the tracks “Confetti,” “Keep The Devil Off” and “Aux Cord.” I expect a lot to unpack from this piece of art.

Ty Dolla $ign – Beach House 3

Ty Dolla $ign‘s consistency with quality, soulful (and beautifully ratchet) music might be unmatched in both R&B and — to a broad degree — Hip-Hop right now. Following the classic Free TC and solid Campaign, the West Coast crooner returns to his highly-coveted Beach House series for a third installment. This go ’round, Beach House 3 sees a hefty 20 tracks and features from Lil Wayne, The-Dream, Jeremih, Future, YG, DJ Mustard, Pharrell Williams, Wiz Khalifa, Future, Tory Lanez and more. Snoop Dogg – Make America Crip Again

Snoop Dogg is eternal. Following May’s Neva Left (which in turn followed last year’s Coolaid), the Long Beach legend returns with a new EP titled Make America Crip Again, which was led by the title track and see appearances from Chris Brown, O.T. Genasis, comedian Ha Ha Davis and more over eight tracks. Snoop also recently explained the meaning behind the new release to Rolling Stone:

It’s not a statement or a political act: it’s just good music. Certain people feel like we should make America ‘great again,’ but that time they’re referring to always takes me back to separation and segregation so I’d rather Make America Crip Again. In my lifetime, that’s when young black men in impoverished areas organized to help their communities and to take care of their own because society basically left them for dead. A lot of people glorify the gang-banging and violence but forget that in the beginning, the Crips’ main and sole purpose was to be the reflection of the Black Panthers. They looked after kids, provided after-school activities, fed them and stepped in as role models and father figures.

Yo Gotti – I Still Am

Memphis Rap icon Yo Gotti reaches back to 2013’s I Am to remind everyone where he stands with his latest. His ninth studio album — I Still Am — saw the Roc Nation artist partnering up with TIDAL to promote its release (put a pin on that). Fans get to enjoy 13 new tracks with appearances from Nicki Minaj (“Rake It Up”), Chris Brown, Meek Mill, YFN Lucci, French Montana and 21 Savage. Added to the new album: an accompanying documentary (via TIDAL of course), which takes the viewers into Gotti’s world — the streets, the studio, the stage and more. All of that can be found below.

Yelawolf – Trial By Fire

Shady Records’ Yelawolf delivers his third album Trial By Fire, which follows 2015’s critically-acclaimed Love Story and sees appearances from Kid Rock, Travis Barker, Wynonna Judd (!) and more. This one’s been cooking for a minute — at least since last year’s single “Daylight” (the most recent official drop was “Punk”). Rock out with one of Alabama’s finest below.

Majid Jordan – The Space Between

It’s only right that OVO Sound would definitely fresh tunes in the month of October. Following PARTYNEXTDOOR and dvsn‘s new drops (Seven Days and Morning After, respectively) comes Majid Jordan with their second studio album, The Space Between. The project sees 13 tracks and previously-released singles “Body Talk,” “My Imagination,” “One I Want” and “Phases.” Majid Al Maskati and Jordan Ullman‘s aforementioned labelmates also make appearances.

For his latest, (intial) Confederate flag defender Yelawolf teams up with past collaborator-slash-Trump supporter Kid Rock to deliver the hard-hitting Rap-Rock track “Get Mine,” the latest single from Yelawolf’s forthcoming album Trial By Fire. The new single follows previous releases including “Daylight” and — most recently — the Travis Barker and Juicy J-assisted “Punk.”

Enjoy “Get Mine” (produced by DJ Klever) below; Trial By Fire drops October 27th (pre-order via iTunes). Too bad Yela didn’t take part in the Shady cypher for this year’s BET Hip-Hop Awards.
