“Layin Low” is rooted in a gritty NY street aesthetic, but Memphis’s Blac Youngsta feels quite at home on it. Over hard hitting snares and aggressive trap production, all three rappers flex on the haters and promise to duck the feds as they do their dirt. “Layin Low” is the first single off QRAK (pronounced “crack” but standing for “Queens Raised A King”), which drops December 8th and features Tory Lanez, Lil Durk, and more, with production coming from Jahlil Beats.

New Jersey native emcee, Craze Colon unleashes his most anticipated single, entitled “Get This Paper” which will be featured on his forthcoming mixtape project, Sofrito The Scent.  Featuring one of hip-hop’s heavyweights Jim Jones, alongside Trav, the record is already considered a hit to many who are familiar.  Craze recalls working on the song saying, “We went to Premiere Studios in NYC and booked a 10-hour block. We vibed out to some beats and when that particular track came on, we all had the same facial expression and started writing immediately.” Craze went in and laid his verse down first, however, Jimmy insisted it be the last as he wanted to set it off with an intro that would deliver the proper energy.  Trav followed up with a catchy yet gritty hook, and the rest was history.

The Lakewood native assures that the best is yet to come as he is still refining his skills towards reaching his prime. With a baby on the way (due in Nov 2016), it only adds to his relentless effort to show and prove that he is formidable in the game of Hip Hop.  Set to drop this summer 16, laced with quality production from StoopidBoy, DameBeatz, Vigilante, TwentySek, and Lil Eto, this is definitely a project to bump on the block.

It’s been a minute since we last got a full mixtape from Dipset originator, Jim Jones. But, he just dropped off a nice Memorial Day surprise with the release of his Miami Vampin mixtape, which takes a departure from the classic, East Coast Dipset sound you might be used to, in favor of some Southern flavor. Although they’re not featured on the track listing, the 16 track project features YD, Trav, Zoey Dollaz, and Neek Bucks, just to name a few.
