Rae Sremmurd ain’t playing in 2018: thanks to Mike WiLL Made-It, we now know that the Mississippi duo is dropping a triple album. In addition to solo projects (Swaecation and Jxmtroduction), fans will also get the long-awaited SremmLife 3 (or SR3MM).

First, we get to check out a triple release of new singles from each part: Swae Lee‘s “Hurt To Look,” Slim Jxmmi‘s “Brxnks Truck” and Rae Sremmurd‘s “Powerglide” (featuring Juicy J). Check ’em out below.

It’s SREMM Season, and everyone should be ready for what’s in-store. With Rae Sremmurd (Slim Jxmmi and Swae Lee) and Metro Boomin on the same record, it’s hard to think that this would be anything less than a hit.

Having given a preview of their new record during Super Bowl weekend, the teaser left most of us in anticipation for their new project Sremmlife 3. After having much success with their hit record “Black Beatles” featuring Gucci Mane off of Sremmlife 2, the duo has been cooking up heat. Now, the talented duo and producer present their latest cook-up, “T’d Up.” The track will appear on Sremmlife 3, said to be released as a three-disc project.

Mike Will Made It had a few things to say via Twitter, mainly speaking his mind about patience. The banded brothers never disappoint and with the release of the new record, it’s safe to say that the bag is going to be secured.

The dynamic duo of Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi are back with the sequel to their 2015 major label debut, Sremmlife. After originally prepping the album for a July release, Rae Sremmurd decided to delay the album a month to fine tune it.

This new LP, Sremmlife 2, of course, contains production from famed Atlanta producer Mike Will Made it. This is due to the fact that Sremmlife 2 is put out through Mike Will’s Ear Drummers label.

This project is an even bigger party than the first. Sremmlife 2 is full of tracks that are guaranteed to be in your party playlist for the rest of the summer.

The tracks “Set The Roof” and “Start a Party” are marathons of excess that contain lyrics that would make even the brothers of Animal house cringe.

Even with all of the fast-paced records on this LP, Rae Sremmurd still finds a way to craft a great melodic song. The track “Just Like Us” is a great example this. On the record, Swae Lee continues to slay(no Lemonade pun intended) every hook that he is put on. While Slim Jimmi brings more personality in his verse like in the single “Look Alive.”

Recently, the duo announced that they were going on a nationwide tour with the “King of The Teens” Lil Yachty. Check out the tour dates below.

The youthful duo Rae Sremmurd is at it again with their new visual for “Look Alive.” The video includes a club scene filled with a majority of cute girls in crop tops and dudes jigging to the melodic sound of the music. Of course the two brothers are shown along with their new wave dancing and jumping. The smoke filled and euphoric video includes young folk at their most turnt, which includes Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi as the center of attention. Drinking, dancing and the neon lights surrounding them. Let’s not forget about the energy drinks and arcade scene. This video does a perfect job embodying the twenty-something year old’s perfect night out with their friends.

The sound of this song is a bit different from their normal hype songs from their debut album, Sremmlife including “No Flex Zone,” “Unlock the Swag,” and “No Type.” Though “Look Alive” still can be used to get the audience jumping it  has more of a melodic mood rather than a trap mood if you catch my drift. Per usual, MikeWiLLMadeIt went crazy on the beat though.

“Look Alive” is from their new up and coming follow up album Sremmlife 2, which is set to be released on June 24th. The album is predicted to have the same energy as their first and includes a few features from the trap and trippy gawds. Lil Jon, Juicy J, and the new breakout artist Kodak Black will be on the album accompanying the turn up bros. Other singles from the new album include “By Chance” and “Over Here.”
