Following a few dope visuals (including the Sampha-assisted “Close But Not Quite”), fans now get to check out a new clip for “Early This Morning,” which features assistance from Giggs. Naturally, Giggs’ hard-hitting, calculating bars prove why this is a standout on that release.

Last year, XL Recordings founder Richard Russell took on his Everything Is Recorded moniker and connected with Sampha and (The Internet‘s) Syd on “Show Love.” Now, a full compilation under the Everything Is Recorded title has surfaced, which features some soulful, genre-bending cuts alongside other big names like Ibeyi, Wiki, Kamasi Washington and more (definitely hooked on the Giggs-assisted “Wet Looking Road”).

British musician Sampha has joined forces with Richard Russell (of XL Recordings) on two fresh tracks.

The songs are set to be featured on Russell’s upcoming project Everything Is Recorded, but were premiered on the producer’s radio show a few days ago.

“Close But Not Quite” (starting at the 53:58 mark) has a distinctly soothing vibe with a breathtaking piano melody. “Everything Is Recorded” (starting at the 1:13:51 mark) on the other hand shares a similar feel but in a more upbeat fashion. Sampha’s voice compliments both tracks accordingly and gracefully as well.

Russell has not yet put out a release date for Everything Is Recorded but these awesome tracks should hold us over in the meantime.
