Last year, XL Recordings founder Richard Russell took on his Everything Is Recorded moniker and connected with Sampha and (The Internet‘s) Syd on “Show Love.” Now, a full compilation under the Everything Is Recorded title has surfaced, which features some soulful, genre-bending cuts alongside other big names like Ibeyi, Wiki, Kamasi Washington and more (definitely hooked on the Giggs-assisted “Wet Looking Road”).
Stream the 12-track compilation courtesy of the groundbreaking British producer below; also included are a bunch of visuals from the project. You can also enjoy the precursor — Close But Not Quite (the EP) — here.
