Backed by a beat so smooth it’s hypnotizing, The Bonfyre shows exactly how magnetic love is as she pulls in her fan base like a moth to a flame.

“‘Automatic’ is all about knowing what you want, no games, no chase,” The Bonfyre explained to Billboard during the video premiere. “Let’s get straight to it because this is what I want and I’m sure.”

Discovered by Raphael Saadiq, The Bonfyre recently signed to L.A. Reid‘s new music label HITCO and is already hitting the music waves running. This soulful and flavorful act is a force to be reckoned with, as her name says it all.

As to why she chose the name, “The Bonfyre”, the songstress explained that her concept was simple, “all are welcome.”

“Everything should sound and feel like a bonfire,” the songstress said. “When I think of a bonfire, it’s super inviting and fun. All are welcome. Bonfyre is relatable and touchable, but she’s not your normal, average girl.”

Opening with the occasional glance that led to the magnetic attraction, we see The Bonfyre wondering what if as her love interest decides to pursue the same thought as he doubles back into the store to get one more glance.

Oakland, California R&B songwriter Jane Handcock steps out from behind the scenes to releases her Raphael Saadiq presented debut project Truth Be Told.

Handcock has worked behind the scenes with many big names in the music business, including Kelly Rowland , Big K.R.I.T., KeKe Palmer, Tank , Tyrese, Kehlani, and producers Teddy Riley, The Social Experiment, Justice League, Vinylz, Harmony Samuels, James Fauntleroy, 1500 or Nothin and Polow Tha Don, as well as with close friend and writing partner Adrian Marcel. It was at OSA – (Oakland School for the Arts) where she met fellow classmate Marcel as well as Kehlani.

While working on Adrian Marcel’s debut project 7 Days of Weak, Handcock had the opportunity to collaborate with Grammy Award Winning Singer Songwriter Producer Raphael Saadiq. It was then that things began to take off for her. Saadiq was impressed with her vivid confessional lyricism. He was intrigued by her ability to not only write honest music that touched people but also the very special ability to empathize. He said her level of empathy made the songs she writes for others even that much more doper “she’s like a musical medium”.

Her collaborations with Saadiq and Marcel led Handcock to vocal produce Marcel’s breakout hit “2 AM”. Now Handcock begins to emerge as an artist herself, and Truth Be Told immediately shows why some of the all time greats are so eager to work with this rising star.
