With a sample of what we can expect, Obie, who is the son of Nigerian immigrants, liberates the introspective new single, <b>&#8220;Lost In America&#8221;</b>.</p>
<p>&#8220;&#8216;Lost in America&#8217; is a tale about the actions and consequences of peer pressure due to a lack of guidance. A looking-glass to going astray on the not so sunny side of America, as an African boy&#8221;, Obie explains.</p>

<p>Recently, The Black Opera (the artistic collective with roots from Nigeria, Uganda, Madagascar, France and the United States) have released &#8220;Sacred Cow&#8221;, a new self-produced record that introduces new member Johnny Void which explores the topics of injustice, belief and trust. The group has an affinity for embedding real topics into their verses and crafting or utilizing production that keeps them “hip” in today’s competitive musical landscape.
