Virginia has a rich history of influential natives, both in and outside of music. Whether you’re mentioning Teddy Riley, Pharrell, Michael Vick or even Allen Iverson, it’s apparent Virginia breeds preservers. Looking to join the ranks of those before him, native Max Fullard checks in with his introspective new cut, “Free Love.”

Set to the tone of ambient production that plays perfectly to Fullard’s high pitched voice and nasally cadence, “Free Love” sees the VA native flexing his lyrical prowess. While much of today’s Hip-Hop focuses on melodic structure and cadence, Fullard’s ability to keep on track with his overall message especially makes this a song wothty of note. With a talent that isn’t seen as often today on the mainstream level, the lane is open.
