“We wanted to have a theme that matched the production of the song so we were thinking like downtown New York. We were walking around Chinatown and saw this barber shop so I paid the guy to use his shop and paid him extra to be in the video… Working with Tokyo is always all love. He has always rocked with me so it’s always love. Ferg was great too, he trusted my vision and everything was easy.”

As with his fellow group member Rocky, A$AP Ferg‘s latest cut is a contribution to the forthcoming Uncle Drew soundtrack. Titled “Harlem Anthem,” the track is another hard-hitting banger that we know Ferg for; a proper tribute to his New York stomping grounds.

After announcing this record back in November, “Learn How To Watch” finally surfaces today. DJ Carnage grabbed Mac Miller and MadeInTYO for this exciting collaboration and it’s definitely worth the listen. This is an exciting collaboration not only for the pairing of artists involved, but for the simple fact that we don’t receive much from Mac these days.

Unfortunately, if you were expecting a jam-packed-Mac Miller song, you may be disappointed, as this one just contains one verse from Mac (he still goes in) and is a brief two-minute offering. The production is quite different and dope, grounded with an accordion-sounding string arrangement, while MadeinTYO handles the hook.

24hrs continues to align himself with greatness, crafting solid singles and EPs left and right. This year, the Atlanta-based artist delivered the highly-rated projects Not Open Late and Night Shift, the latter of which boasted the Wiz Khalifa and Ty Dolla $ign-assisted “What You Like.” Now, that very single gets a remix, which sees the Taylor Gang collaborators replaced by 24hrs’ fellow XXL Freshmen PnB Rock and (younger brother) MadeinTYO.

[Yes, we know that Wiz and Ty$ were XXL Freshman, too.]
