Lately, Chicago has been known as the preeminent place for street crimes, which naturally led it to being the capital of street rap, drill in particular. Though the city is as diverse as can be, the artists — who deserve it — that have been heralded from the city have been cats like G Herbo, FBG Duck, Chief Keef and more. Despite the fact that all the aforementioned artists are amazing, Chicago is a place of diversity. Looking to highlight that is native Jordan Caesar who checks back into the pages with his brand new single, “Manifest.”

Set to the tone of some silky smooth production, “Manifest,” is a selfless, eye-opening track that see’s Jordan exhibit some strong lyrical qualities. That’s not the thing that makes this song a gem, though. While Jordan has always had a knack for strong cadences and stout lyrical production, “Manifest” see’s him at a more comfortable space. Instead of trying to scramble words together and fit too many into one sentence, the Chicago native sounds relaxed and composed, as he fires off some of the best music that I’ve heard from him to date.

Check out, “Manifest” below and be sure to keep an eye on Jordan Caesar.

After making his debut on the site with his introspective cut, “Ride Wit Ya,” Chicago native Jordan Caesar opts for a bit more aggression in his brand new track, “Infamous.”

Set to the tone of menacing melodies and some dusty, yet perfectly placed drums, Caesar goes nuts, warning all detractors to stay out of his way. “Better know I show skin, before I show mercy/ Talking all that tough shit but it don’t scare me, I could wake up in hell with no worries,” rhymes the Midwest native on the track. With both of these singles coming from his project, Death To Reputation, it’s safe to say that Jordan Caesar is here for the long run.

Chicago is among the most celebrated cities in Hip-Hop history. It’s impossible to mention leaps that the genre has taken without also talking about people like Twista, Common, Chief Keef and of course, Kanye West. With such a rich tradition, it’s no surprise that city seems like an endless source of talent. Next up in the pipeline is native Jordan Caesar who lets his pen bleed on his new track, “Ride Wit Ya.”

Sticking to simply looped production that’s perfect for a lyrical 32, Caesar let’s loose about things like growing up ill-tempered & high school shortcoming in a funky cadence that keeps the ear intrigued. Spawning off his recently released, Death to Reputation album, “Ride Wit Ya” is a solid single that showcases the Windy City native’s potential.

Check out the single below and be sure to give a listen to Jordan Caesar.
