Hailing from the historic Midwestern city of Chicago, Illinois, this hitmaker shows the world that his rap flows are just as impressive as his production skills. His experience creating music alongside SZA, Frank Ocean, and Chance The Rapper, as seen on SNL, Jimmy Fallon, Good Morning America, Stephen Colbert, and Jimmy Kimmel has prepared him to have a successful career as a recording artist.

In this visual, you will see Stix paying homage to his late grandmother, who is near and dear to his heart. The images of his grandma reels you in immediately as he raps “My granny passed man I ain’t been the same since, better love them while they here and that’s my two cents”. These touching lyrics set the tone for the rest of “Any Other Way” showcasing a softer side to his music.

As images from his childhood flashes across the screen, it is clear that he was born a superstar. Riding around in a black SVU, Stix’ high energy on camera makes this one of his most impressive visuals to date. As he candidly cruises the windy Chicago streets, his love for creating music and his hometown come full circle.

The 89th Academy Awards, better known as the Oscars, is one of entertainment’s most prestige honor for all of Hollywood’s key players.

Every year, the Oscar nominees are announced in standard fashion– an announcement ceremony in front of a live audience. However, this year’s nominees were announced in a way completely new to the Academy Awards. This year’s award contenders were named via a global livestream.

The 68^th annual EMMY awards were filled with jokes, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, juices boxes, and loads of surprising wins. Jimmy Kimmel hosted the ceremony last night [September 18^th, 2016] on ABC. The late night host delivered clever one-liners and continued his infamous feud with Matt Damon who threw a few clever jabs back Kimmel’s way.

Dragons and white broncos reigned supreme. Dominating the night were Game of Thrones and The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story. No surprise there. The real surprise last night were the winners of best actress and actor in a drama series. Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black) and Rami Malek (Mr. Robot) took home the awards for their innovative and extraordinary performances. These two will definitely be ones to watch.

There were also plenty of incredible speeches given last night. Jill Soloway and Jeffrey Tambor spoke about giving transgendered people a voice and a chance in the industry. Tambor said he would be proud if he was the last cis male to play a transgender woman on television. Soloway thanked the LGBT community and more specifically the trans community in her acceptance speech, “I’ve always wanted to be part of a movement, the civil rights movement or the feminist movement —this TV show allows me to take my dreams about unlikeable Jewish people, queer folk, trans folk, and make them the heroes”.

Sarah Paulson also made an incredible speech in regards to first impressions and judgements made by herself and many others due to what we perceive a person to be because of how they are portrayed in the media. Paulson apologized to Marcia Clark, whom she brought with her to the ceremony stating “the responsibility of playing a real person is an enormous one. You want to get it right, not for you, but for them. I, along with the rest of the world, had been superficial and careless in my judgment, and I am glad that I’m able to stand here in front of everyone today and say, I’m sorry.”

If you couldn’t tell by the nominations, the golden age of television is upon us. With so many diverse programs and talent it is no wonder many critically acclaimed shows got snubbed. Here is the full list of Emmy wins:

Now Kimmel has learned a few personal things about one of Times’ most Influential People on the Internet by asking him three ridiculous questions. The combination of Khaled’s charisma and Kimmel’s effortless funny persona would have you crying laughing after this interview.

Inside a bar with classical music playing, over drinks of Ciroc Apple, Kimmel jumps right into the interview with his first question:

“If you know somebody and you can’t remember their name, what do you call them?” Kimmel asked.

“Bless Up,” DJ Khaled said.

Kimmel then followed up with his next question:

“Which would you  rather see in person, a unicorn or a duck with human feet?” DJ Khaled with zero hesitation responded with his answer; a unicorn. He said the reason  he’d prefer a unicorn is because of their “special cloth.”

Kimmel’s last question was the funniest of them all. He asked the social media mogul where did all the pilgrims go?

Khaled answer was classic. He said, “I have no idea, and it’s not my business.” Kimmel respected that and the interview was over.  This was some smooth comedy.

These days it’s hard keeping up with the famous Kardashian!

Kim Kardashian West is bringing her game savviness to TV. Kim has had tremendous success with her app game, so why not bring it to television?  The reality star will appear on an episode of Big Fan. Contestants will have their knowledge tested in a face off to see who knows the most about Kim.

“I am going to be on a new ABC game show and I need some of my biggest fans to play with!” Mrs. West tweeted Monday night.”

The half-hour game show will be produced by Jimmy Kimmel, and will have many stars featured on the show throughout the season.  The show will put three of the biggest super fans against one another leaving one hopeful with the chance to be crowned the Big Fan.  Whichever contestant has the most knowledge of their favorite celebrity will move onto a showdown of star versus super fan. Giving them the shot to experience hanging out with the celebrity of their dreams.

Still, there’s no word on when the show will premiere, or when Kim’s episode will air, but fans are urged to apply soon as possible, to meet the networks deadline of April 1st.
