“Humble” just earned Kendrick Lamar‘s highest-charting solo single ever, and it’s only the first week. The song, which was shared on March 30th with an equally strong video earns a spot at no. 2 on the Hot 100 Monday. It is the highest debut for a rap song since Eminem‘s “Love The Way You Lie” in 2010.

But this is not the first time Kendrick Lamar scores a spot in Hot 100. He previously landed a no. 1 on the Hot 100 with his feature on Taylor Swift‘s “Bad Blood” remix in 2015. Last week, his recent release “The Heart Part 4” debuted at 22 on the chart. Before “Humble” his highest-charting song as a lead artist was “Swimming Pools,” which reached no. 17 in 2012. However, he has 3 previous top ten singles in featuring roles (including “Bad Blood.”)

The song precedes Kendrick Lamar’s still-untitled album, which is dropping this Friday, April 14th.
