If you weren’t convinced before, his new “Zombie Walk,” video should. Here is why.

Desiigner, still only 19, did give us a typical music video, the G.O.O.D Music artist give the world a mini motion picture. And the timing couldn’t be perfect because he gave us a horror film on Halloween. How creative is that?

Off his New English mixtape, the nine-minute short film “Zombie Walk,” directed by Grant Curatola, begins with Desiigner racing down a deserted highway on the way to link up with his friends and all of a sudden his car breaks down.

He then hitch hikes a ride with a random trucker and during the ride, the trucker begins coughing and he falls asleep at the wheel. That’s where things get real spooky. The driver turns in to a zombie. Dessigner then hurry and get out the car, and the zombie trucker starts chasing him!

While running through the gloomy woods, he tries to call his friend King Savage, but his phone looses service. Meanwhile King Savage is at the party, where he……… I can’t tell the movie. Just know the ending is mad ill yo! (New York dialect)

The G.O.O.D Muisc camp is doing a nice job bringing Desiigner along. We grew accustom to dark songs by Desiigner and now we got a video. Dope, super dope.

At the end of the song Big Sean raps, “No more interviews unless you wanna talk about the music or something that has a different view and not the s**t that’s getting the hits and views words misconstrued with no credit but you n****s approved.”

In the three in a half minute hook-less song produced by Sean himself and Amaire Johnson, the Detroit emcee keeps it all the way real.

“No More Interviews” gives the world insight on how he feels about all of the controversial rhetoric surrounding his life. He speaks on Naya Rivera, his ex-girlfriend of two years, his troubled relationship between himself, Kanye West and Kid Cudi and anything that has nothing to do with the consistent hits he’s been dropping over the last decade. During interviews, the G.O.O.D Music artist only wants to speak about the music or something that’s intellectual. He doesn’t want people in his business nor does he care about the he say she say in the industry.

Big Sean has been on a roll musically. This song lets us known that according to Kanye, he’s the best rapper out and it doesn’t hurt his case that his Dark Sky Paradise album went platinum with out a solo tour.

If “No More Interviews” is an indication of what we can expect from Big Sean’s new album, I’m already waiting on it.

There is currently a very hot, yet very controversial song floating around in the streets, right now. Controversial, because it involves a rapper who some people are frowning upon for supposedly jacking another rapper’s style. No, I’m not talking about Young Thug. I’m talking about 18 year-old Brooklyn native and new G.O.O.D. Music signee, Desiigner, who many are attempting to label as a Future sound-alike.

Desiigner’s record “Panda” has been circulating since its release in December, receiving a whopping 3.4 million plays and counting, according to his Soundcloud page, but it is pretty safe to say that a majority of those plays didn’t come until he was formally announced as Kanye West’s newest artist, at the Yeezy Season 3 event, that was recently held at Madison Square Garden.

How did this song skyrocket so fast?

There are a couple of reasons. First off, this kid is signed to Kanye West and is cosigned by Pusha T. That alone, will put you on people’s radars and boost you a bit. Secondly, “Panda” is a crazy record. Absolutely insane. In the car. In the club. This song goes. But if you ask me, the real reason so many people are pressing play on this song is because they keep hearing about a rapper who “sounds like Future” and they want to hear it for themselves. Then once they hear it for themselves, they want to be able to hop on social media with all the other trolls (and Future stans) and rip this kid for his sound.

Here’s my thing…

G.O.O.D. Music is, and always has been the Juilliard School of Hip-Hop. It has always been about more than just music, with this camp. G.O.O.D. Music is for the arts, and you wouldn’t be signed if you weren’t an innovative creative. Just look at their roster. It speaks volumes about what they stand for and how high they have raised the bar. With that said, do you really think they would have signed Desiigner if he was just some kid who was here to be a Future knockoff? I don’t.

Death, taxes, and me having a theory as to why controversial things happen, are three things that are certain in life, and if you haven’t noticed yet, this whole piece has been a theory as to why I think G.O.O.D. Music signed Desiigner. Pusha T knows something we don’t. Kanye West knows something we don’t.

What makes everyone so sure that it’s Desiigner who’s stealing from Future? What if in actuality, he has been secretly ghostwriting for Future this whole time, and has now decided to pull a Quentin Miller and come forward as an artist, himself? Considering Future is a fairly terrible rapper who is only saved by his production, this isn’t a far-fetched idea, in the least.

Wait. I got another theory…

What if Desiigner is using the Young Thug marketing strategy? Remember when Thug first came out and he sounded exactly like Lil Wayne? Then what happened next? He got everyone’s attention, and once he got everyone’s attention, he started dropping music that was comparable to no one, making him one of the hottest emcees in the game. Maybe Desiigner is just reeling everyone in, right now.

Maybe I’m totally, completely, way off with everything I just said. I don’t know Desiigner personally, so I can’t factually say I know what his plan is. But I do know that people need to let him rock. They’re going to love him in a month, anyway (because you know how fickle Hip-Hop fans are). It’s not fair to try and end this man’s career before it even gets started and you’ve only heard one song (unless you really pay attention and heard “Zombie Walk”, too) and a feature or two. Just chill out. Let him drop a project, first. Then you can go crazy with your annoying comparisons; or not. Because, really, who cares what he sounds like? Your favorite rapper probably doesn’t even write his own raps. Your favorite rapper is probably a former corrections officer who lied about being a drug kingpin. Just enjoy “Panda” for the banger that it is. I bet you liked this joint when you thought it was Future.

And the pictures are in black and white, because “Panda… Panda, Panda, Panda, Panda, Panda”.

2015 was a epic year for Big Sean, and he is not afraid to say so. Sean recently delivered “What A Year,” a Pharrell and Detail track that painted a picture of the rapper’s eventful life in 2015. Sean’s new video is taking us on a journey of the last 12 months of his life- event by event.

The video begins with Sean and some guests putting the final touches on his album, we get a glimpse at the huge concerts he performed in 2015. Along the way, there are cameos from Jhene Aiko, Eminem, J. Cole, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and many more. Will 2016 be even bigger for Sean? Apparently his next studio album is almost ready, and most likely will surprise his fans.

Before the year is over, Hudson Mohawke has one final instrumental to share with us.

Inspired by John Carpenter’s 1981 movie “Escape from New York”, Mohawke’s synths are pretty close to the original and give you that same eerie feeling as the movie did.

The track is featured on the 7th annual LuckyMe Records advent calendar, which offers a free download every day from December 27 to January 6. Mohawke had one hell of a year, and we can’t wait to hear what he delivers in 2016. Check out the track below.

Pusha T’s “King Push: Darkest Before Dawn” receives the visual accompaniment with the first official film trailer. Directed by Kid Art, “DBD” has the ominous feel of a hustlers’ ambition, documenting the triumph and pitfalls of life in the streets. “Darkest Before Dawn” indirectly exemplifies Pusha T’s biopic of sorts, starring himself and “Power” actor Rotimi. King Push has historically been one of the better storytellers in the culture’s history, but hey, a congruent film can only make the story that much more real.
